Academic Affairs
Mission
The Academic Affairs unit supports the Minnesota State mission by developing initiatives that promote quality and accountability of academic programming as we strive to prepare all students for the workforce and professional careers in a globally, culturally, and linguistically diverse world.
We provide knowledgeable support and shared resources for those on our campuses who directly serve students in the fulfillment of their aspirations and learning achievements.
Dual Enrollment
Dual enrollment programs allow high school students to earn college credit while in high school at no cost. Minnesota State supports high quality, sustainable dual enrollment opportunities for all Minnesota students. These programs make a college education more accessible, more affordable, and decreases the time to degree completion.
PSEO
Through the post-secondary enrollment options (PSEO) program, high school students may take courses at a college or university campus and earn credits simultaneously for both their high school diploma and their college degree.
PSEOConcurrent Enrollment
Concurrent enrollment is a program that provides opportunities for high school students to earn dual credit by taking college courses on their high school campus taught by qualified and mentored high school teachers.
