Additional Skype Troubleshooting Information:

Launch a Test Meeting
Click the Join Skype Meeting link (below) now. You should see a message like “looks like you’re the only one here right now.” If the meeting window doesn’t open you should be offered the opportunity to join with the web app vs. the desktop client. If neither the desktop client or the web app options work, please contact your local Desktop Support to have the latest Skype client installed.

If you’re able to join the meeting successfully, close the meeting window. You’ll do the same thing the day of the meeting.

Day of the Meeting
Please join the meeting online before joining the audio. In many cases Skype defaults to PC audio and will connect even if you dial in. Please see the audio tips below if you do not plan on using Skype audio (PC audio with headset) or use a telephone and experience an echo effect (with both forms of audio connected).

Link Information
If you join the meeting window and are not prompted to select/join audio, Skype most likely automatically connected you to “Skype audio,” which is your PC. If you want to use your telephone, disconnect from Skype audio.

#5 will “hang up.” Disconnects from Skype call, but does not leave the meeting.

#7 – If you are disconnected, or want to join via telephone, click #7 and then the option to join the call that appears. One of the audio options will include having Skype call you. Enter your number preceded by a 1. Example: 1-612-555-3275.

Otherwise, call the number provided above and enter the Conference ID when prompted.
