About the Information Security, Risk, and Compliance Office:
The team consists of information security subject matter experts who are dedicated to the protection of confidential, sensitive data and information assets from unauthorized access or exposure. The Information Security, Risk, and Compliance Office serves all Minnesota State colleges and universities, and the system as a whole, supporting academic and business operations.
The Information Security, Risk, and Compliance team provides the following services:
- The coordination of system-wide security Board Policies and System Procedures
- Information Security Awareness (Public Jobs – Private Data)
- Vulnerability management
- Internet malware protection (Internet Guardian service)
- Application Security Analysis
- Risk assessments
- Security incident response
- Security threats and trend analysis
- Consultative Services
- Identity and Access Management services
